GAME WEEK 29 PREVIEWS & PREDICTIONS
Game week 28 is finally over and there were some great games played and screamers scored! Liverpool and City both kept up their pusuits for the title whilst Brentford, Newcastle and Spurs claimed massive wins. We haven't even had time to catch our breaths but it's time for game week 29 to start and there are some tasty matches being played.
GAME OF THE WEEKEND🦁
MANCHESTER UNITED VS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
The standout fixture for the weekend is between two sides fighting for that 4th spot.
United were destroyed by City in the derby as they lost 4-1 at the Etihad stadium. Ronaldo was abscent at that match and it's still unsure if Ragnick will play him against Spurs.
Tottenham seem to have hit a purple patch in the league. They have scored 9 goals in their last 2 games without a reply. The trio of Kane, Son and Kulusevski seem to click and Spurs have once again gained some momentum in their push for the top 4.
Both sides will see this as a winable game but it will all come down to which side is the most lethal in front of goal.
ONE TO WATCH: HARRY KANE PREDICTION: 1-3
EASIEST 3 POINTS😎
BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION VS LIVERPOOL
The seagulls started the season brightly but they seem to have hit a bit of a bump in the last couple of weeks. They have lost their last 4 games and are low on confidince.
Liverpool were lucky to walk away with all 3 points against West Ham. The hammers could have won if not for some woefull finishing. Klopp will be looking for a response from his team after they were defeated by Inter in midweek.
Liverpool have struggled in recent games against Brighton but they have a lot more confidince and class at the moment and that should see them claim a comfortable victroy at the Amex stadium in the early kick off on Saturday.
ONE TO WATCH: DIOGO JOTA PREDICTION: 0-3
POTENTIAL UPSET😵
CHELSEA VS NEWCASTLE UNITED
It's impossible to look past Newcastle's current run of form. They have won their last 6 games out of 7. They have certainly put the relegation talks behind them and that's thanks to great winter signings but also thanks to Eddie Howe.
Chelsea have played quite well lately but are coming up against an extremely strong and fierce Newcastle side. All the contorversial talks going on off the pitch might also have some effect on Chelsea as it's recently come to light that they may be in a financial crisis if Abramovich's assets aren't unfrozen by the UK government.
This is certainly a interesting game to keep an eye on this weekend. Who will prevail come the final whistle?
ONE TO WATCH: RYAN FRASER PREDICTION: 1-1
WHO SHOULD YOUR FANTASY CAPTAIN BE?
HARRY KANE
The Spurs striker had a slow start to the season but it seems that he has hit the same hights that we all know he possesses. He faces Manchester United and Brighton in a exciting double game week for Tottenham. 5 goals in his last 4 games plus a couple of assits has seen Kane become a strong optoin for the captains armband this week. Is it impossible to not captain him?
