GAME WEEK 28 PREVIEWS & PREDICTIONS

After some FA Cup action in midweek the Premier League is back! Last weekend saw Liverpool win the League cup 11-10 on penalties in one of the games of the season. City needed a late Foden goal to get the job done against Everton and Christian Eriksen is back! This week sees a host of sides play twice with the battle for the title heating up as well as the battle for top 4 and the battle to avoid relegation!

GAME OF THE WEEKEND🤯

MANCHESTER CITY VS MANCHESTER UNITED

It's that time of the season again. The Manchester derby will take place this weekend and there is a lot up for grabs. City won the return leg 2-0 at Old Trafford ,but back then Ole was in charge and things have changed a bit.

City squeezed out a 1-0 victory at Goodison Park to keep Liverpool at a arms length. Pep will be aware that any slip ups could cost them the title. They have struggled against United recently, especially whilst playing at home.

United could not get the decisive goal as they drew 0-0 against Watford in their last game. Ragnick will need his players firing on all cylinders if they are to leave the Etihad with a result.

ONE TO WATCH: CRISTIANO RONALDO PREDICTION: 1-2

EASIEST 3 POINTS😁

WATFORD VS ARSENAL

It's a bit harsh to say that Watford will be a walk over after their heroic display against United but Arsenal are in formidable form at the moment and it's going to take a miracle to stop them.

Watford walked away with a point from Old Trafford after they hanged on for a 0-0 draw. They are currently in 19th place with the pressure heeping up with each passisng game.

The Gunners are sitting in 6th place with a few games in hand on their top 4 opponents. 3 Wins from their last 3 games has seen their confidince sky rocket.

It's been 5 years since the North-London side played a game of Champions League football, but if they keep their focus it could be closer than they realize.

ONE TO WATCH: BUKAYO SAKA PREDICTION: 0-3

POTENTIAL UPSET👀

BURNLEY VS CHELSEA

The League cup defeat last weekend would have wounded Chelsea. They were of the pace in the FA Cup and fell behind twice against Luton but they were strong enough to run out eventuall winners. Burnley are fighting for their place in next seasons edition of the Premier League.

They were on a fine run of form untill a late flurry of Leicester goals broke that run. Sean Dyche will be looking for a response from his side.

Chelsea should have a few tired legs after two hard fought encounters in the space of a week.

If there was ever a chance for Burnley to claim a famous win it's now.

ONE TO WATCH: DWIGHT MCNEIL PREDICTION: 2-0

WHO SHOULD YOUR FANTASY CAPTAIN BE?

OLLIE WATKINS

Aston Villa face both Southampton and Leeds in a promising double game week for them. There is a whole bunch of Villa assets to choose from but I'm backing Mr. Watkins to go big this week. He ended his 6 game drought with an excellent goal against Brighton. He has just regained his form at the best moment. While others might ignore him I think he is the perfect player to captain this week.
