GAME OF THE WEEKEND🥵
NEWCASTLE UNITED VS ASTON VILLA
This game might not have the most goals but it will certainly have the best atmosphere. We all know that when the Toon army are at their boisterous best St James park is one of the toughest grounds to play at.
Newcastle were excellent in their 3-1 demolishment of Everton. Eddie Howe certainly made some inspired signings but none more so than Kieran Trippier. The former Spurs fullback was immense as he rab the game from the back. He capped of a fine evening with a excellent freekick to seal all 3 points for the Magpies.
Villa were excellent going forward against Leeds but their defending was woefull and that should cause some concerns for Gerrard. Coutinho has hit the ground running and will be looking to sprinkle his magic in this game once again.
Newcastle know that every game is important if they are to stay up this season. St James' Park will be buzzing on Sunday and you can expect a action packed encounter.
ONE TO WATCH: BRUNO GUIMARÃES PREDICTION: 2-2
EASIEST 3 POINTS🥱
NORWICH VS MANCHESTER CITY
Norwich will be pleased after they drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace because it is a point closer to safety. Pukki pulled of a sumptous finish to grab the goal but they took their foot of the gas in the second half and that gave Palace the chance to get back into the game.
City were able to claim a rouitne victory against Brentford and will be aiming to do the same against the Cannaries. It should be noted however that Norwich won the last encounter between these two sides at Carrow Road.
This game should be a walkover for City but Norwich are fighting to stay up this season and that ceratinly makes them a side not to underestimate.
ONE TO WATCH: RAHEEM STERLING
PREDICTION: 0-2
POTENTIAL UPSET😭
MANCHESTER UNITED VS SOUTHAMPTON
United were excellent in the first half of their game agianst Burnley. They had two goals dissalowed but went into the break with a 1-0 lead. Burnley however dominated them in the second half and claimed a much deserved 1-1 draw. United will be dissapointed because they know that any dropped points can cost them a place in the top 4 come the end of the season.
Southampton were brilliant against Tottenham! They fell behind twice only to equailize again. Che Adams stepped up in the 83rd minute to head home the winner for the Saints. They will be brimming with confidince.
United certainly have the quality but they lack the grit and desire to finish the games of. Southampton know how to come form behind and win. Who says they can't win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Old Trafford in the same week?
ONE TO WATCH: CHE ADAMS PREDICTION: 1-2
WHO SHOULD YOUR FANTASY CAPTAIN BE?☠
KEVIN DE BRUYNE
The Belgian super star has certainly picked up the pace in this econd half of the season. He continued his great run of form by bagging a goal against Brentford. He should be confident of getting on the score sheet again against Norwich. If you have KDB in your team he is certainly the one screaming for the captains' armband.
