ARSENAL VS NEWCASTLE UNITED

Arsenal finally tasted defeat at the hands of an old foe. Liverpool dominated the game from start to finish, but it’s just another lesson for Arsenal and it should not affect them too much. Eddie Howe tested positive for Covid-19 and therefore this could be his managerial debut for the Magpies who played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Bretford in their last game.

ONE TO WATCH: BUKAYO SAKA PREDICTION: 2-1



CRYSTAL PALACE VS ASTON VILLA

Crystal Palace are really playing some entertaining football under Patrick Viera. They drew 3-3 with Burnley in their last game. Christian Benteke will face his old side this weekend full of confidence after scoring a brace last time out. Villa kick started the Gerrard era with an impressive 3 points after a 2-0 win against Brighton.

ONE TO WATCH: OLLIE WATKINS PREDICTION: 1-2



LIVERPOOL VS SOUTHAMPTON

Liverpool blew Arsenal away in an empathic 4-0 win last weekend. Southampton’s unbeaten run finally came to an end as they were defeated 2-1 by Norwich. If the Anfield crowd can replicate the same atmosphere as against Arsenal then Liverpool should be able to claim a comfortable win.

PREDICTION: 3-0


NORWICH VS WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

Who would have thought that Norwich would be able to claim back to back wins? Dean Smith began his campaign at the club with a courageous comeback to win 2-1. Wolves also picked up a massive 3 points as they defeated West Ham 1-0 thanks to a sumptuous Raúl Jiménez goal.

ONE TO WATCH: BILLY GILMOUR PREDICTION: 1-1

BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION VS LEEDS

Brighton put in a resilient display against Aston Villa, but in the end they could not hold on for the full 90 minutes and conceded two late goals. Leeds took the lead against Spurs but were not able to hold on and were defeated 2-1. Leeds will be hoping that Patrick Bamford will return to fitness sooner rather than later.

BRENTFORD VS EVERTON

Brentford scored 3 goals in their last game against Newcastle but also conceded thrice. They will need to sort out some of their defensive issues, but going forward they just seem to click. It’s safe to say that Everton have had a fall from grace as they are now winless in their last 6 league games.

ONE TO WATCH: SERGI CANÓS PREDICTION: 3-1


BURNLEY VS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Burnley scored 3 goals against Crystal Palace and are now unbeaten in their last 4 league games. Maxwel Cornet hos got this side scoring goals and we all know that they can defend. Sean Dyche is definitely doing something right. Spurs made an inspired comeback to win 2-1 against a well drilled Leeds. Conte has his first win under the belt.

LEICESTER VS WATFORD

Leicester were rather unconvincing as they lost 3-0 to Chelsea at home in their last game. We all know that the possess quality but they just can’t find the form to deliver week in week out. Watford ran riot as they won 4-1 against Manchester United and that was also the last straw for Ole as he was sacked less than 24 hours later.

ONE TO WATCH: EMMANUEL DENNIS PREDICTION: 1-2



MANCHESTER CITY VS WEST HAM UNITED

City put on a trade mark performance as the comfortably saw of Everton 3-0. West Ham’s fine run of form finally came to an end as they lost 1-0 to Wolves. It should be no cause for concern though as they are definitely one of the favorites to finish in a top 6 spot this season.

ONE TO WATCH: JOÃO CANCELO

PREDICTION: 3-1



CHELSEA VS MANCHESTER UNITED

What a way to end of the weekend. Chelsea surely make winning look easy. They barely broke a sweat as they defeated Leicester 3-0 at the King Power stadium. Man United lost 4-1 to Watford in a disappointing performance. Ole is not at the wheel anymore. Michael Carrick is the interim manager for the time being. Chelsea have the opportunity to blast a wounded United out of the park in the last game of this match week.

ONE TO WATCH: TIMO WERNER PREDICTION: 2-0



WHO SHOULD YOUR FANTASY CAPTAIN BE?

SADIO MANÉ

It’s not possible to ignore Mané’s performances much longer. Mo Salah is certainly tearing it up at the moment, but Mané is certainly doing his bit. He is the second top scorer after Salah. He is facing his old club Southampton this weekend and would be relishing the chance of catching up on Mo with a couple of goals.
