GAME WEEK 12 PREVIEWS AND PREDICTIONS

LEICESTER VS CHELSEA

Both sides were forced to accept disappointing 1-1 draws in their last games. Leicester were held away to Leeds and Burnley shocked Chelsea by claiming a point at Stamford Bridge. This match has excitement written all over it as both sides should be fresh after the international break.

ONE TO WATCH: HARVEY BARNES

PREDICTION: 2-1

ASTON VILLA VS BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION

Aston Villa have lost their last 5 league games in a row, but that was with Dean Smith as their head coach. They will go into this game with the legendary Steven Gerrard as their new head coach. Brighton have been quite unconvincing themselves as they are also winless in their last 5 games. This is a great opportunity for Gerrard to start with a win.

ONE TO WATCH: OLLIE WATKINS

PREDICTION: 3-1

BURNLEY VS CRYSTAL PALACE

After finally picking up their first 3 points of the season, Burnley also claimed a point away at Chelsea. Crystal Palace backed up their 2-0 win away at Man City with another 2-0 win over Wolves. Both sides are enjoying a great run of form and should fancy their chances of claiming the 3 points.

ONE TO WATCH: CONOR GALLAGHER PREDICTION: 1-2

NEWCASTLE UNITED VS BRENTFORD

Aston Villa will have a new manager in the dugout this weekend and so will Newcastle. Eddie Howe is the chosen one…for now. The most of us probably expected a high profile manager but Eddie Howe might be the perfect man to kick start this new era for the Magpies. Can the claim their first win against a Brentford side losing their last 4 games?

ONE TO WATCH: CALLUM WILSON PREDICTION: 2-1

NORWICH CITY VS SOUTHAMPTON

Norwich claimed their first win of the season against Brentford in their last game. The win was not able to rescue Daniel Farke’s job. Dean Smith has swiftly made the switch from Villa to Norwich. He certainly has enough experience to save them from the drop. Southampton have back to back wins coming into this game. Let’s see if they can make it 3 on the trot.

ONE TO WATCH: MATHIAS NORMANN

PREDICTION: 2-2

WATFORD VS MANCHESTER UNITED

Both sides have only won one of their last 5 games. Watford have been unable to follow up their 5-2 thrashing of Everton. United defeated Spurs 3-0 to take some pressure off of Ole, but in their last game they were dominated by Man City. If United are to finish top 4 come the end of the season they will certainly need to start winning again.

ONE TO WATCH: CRISTIANO RONALDO

PREDICTION: 1-3

WOLVES VS WEST HAM UNITED

Wolves fine run of form finally came to an end as they were beaten 2-0 by Crystal Palace. West Ham are currently in 3rd place. They put in a world class performance in their last game as they defeated Liverpool 3-2 at the London Stadium. This season has also seen the reputations of these two managers rise considerably. We should be in for a treat.

ONE TO WATCH: JARROD BOWEN

PREDICTION: 1-2

LIVERPOOL VS ARSENAL

Who would have thought that after 3 games into the season that it would be fourth versus fifth when these two sides finally meet. Liverpool were outplayed and outclassed against West Ham as they suffered their first defeat in 26 games. Van Dijk is back in the backline this season but it is safe to say that the Reds’ defense has been poor this season. Arsenal have won their last 3 games in a row. The Gunners will surely fancy their chances of claiming all 3 points on Saturday at Anfield.

ONE TO WATCH: EMILE SMITH ROWE PREDICTION: 2-2

MANCHESTER CITY VS EVERTON

City have had the upper hand in this fixture over the past few seasons. They absolutely dominated city rivals Man United in their last game. Everton made a blistering start to the season but unfortunately their wheels have come off a bit. They are winless in their last 5 games. However with Richarlison back from injury, you should not write Everton of in this match.

ONE TO WATCH: BERNARDO SILVA PREDICTION: 3-1

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR VS LEEDS UNITED

Antonio Conte’s return was certainly anti-climactic as Spurs played out a 0-0 stalemate with Everton in their last game. Leeds claimed a point against Leicester in a 1-1 draw last time out. After a sluggish start to the season it seems that Harry Kane has finally found his shooting boots. Back to back hat-tricks and 7 goals in his last 2 games has certainly seen Kane return to the form that we all know he is capable of.

ONE TO WATCH: HARRY KANE PREDICTION: 2-1

WHO SHOULD YOUR FANTASY CAPTAIN BE?

HARRY KANE

Its save to say that Mo Salah was the go to option for the captains armband over the past couple of weeks, but after failing to score in his last two games it might be time to pass on the captain’s armband to a new leader. Harry Kane has certainly found his form of old and was banging in goals for England on International Duty. Spurs have some really nice upcoming fixtures and now would be the best time to bring Kane into your squad.

FUN FACT

The Premiere League trophy is actually very cheap. The FIFA World Cup is valued at $20 million. The Borg-Warner is valued at $1.3 million. The Premier League trophy is only valued at £ 3,700.
