CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PREVIEWS & PREDICTIONS
It's finally time for the second-legs of the round of 16 to get underway. Liverpool, PSG and Salzburg were all able to claim massive results in their first games whilst most of the games are still yet to be decided. Manchester City will be confident of progressing after they thumped Sporting 5-0.
BAYERN MÜNCHEN VS SALZBURG
The fist-leg between these two teams ended 1-1 and it's safe to say that Bayern might have been a bit fortunate to walk away with a draw. Kinglsey Coman scored in the 90th minute to secure a draw for the Bavarian giants.
Salzburg are in fine form at the moment and are curently unbeaten in their last 6 games. The Austrian outfit will be full of confidince heading into this deciding tie. They have nothing to loose and everything to gain.
Bayern have regained some of their form since the last encounter, but they have been far from their best and that should cause some concern for the home support.
Salzburg have a chance to complete one of the most historic upsets in UCL history, will it be a Bayern walkover or will the Austrian sledgehammer ruin the party?

LIVERPOOL VS INTER MILAN
We have another special Anfield night ahead of us! Liverpool put one foot into the quarter-finals after their 2-0 win in Milan. If only away goals still played a part! It wasn't the best game of the season but Virgil Van Dijk stole the spotlight as he reminded us all of his world class quality.
The Reds are on a fine run of form domestically and have won their first piece of silverware for the season. They have some minor injury issues that might be a bit of a concern.
Inter are leading Serie A by a point! After the defeat to Liverpool the wheels seemed to come off for the Nerazzurri but they obliterated Salernitana on Friday evening with Lautaro walking away with the match ball. Have they regained their form at the perfect time?
This should be a thrilling encounter with Inter almost certain to attack right from the off. Their biggest challenge however is silencing Anfield.

MANCHESTER CITY VS SPORTING CP
City are almost certainly through to the next round after a 5-0 thrasing in the first-leg. Their very own Portugese star Bernardo Silva stole the show in his home country. Sporting were not able to handle the power, precision and accuracy of the City players.
Manchester City have lost some momentum since then after dropping points against Tottenham.They did however destroy Manchester United in the Manchester derby. Pep might see this game as a chance to give some key players a break and focus on the upcoming league fixtures.
Sporting are unbeaten in their last 5 league games but are still 6 points adrift of Porto. Their hopes will not be to high heading into this game at the Etihad.
It's important to note however that miracles do happen.

REAL MADRID VS PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
This is most certainly the standout fixture of the week. PSG take a slender 1-0 lead into the second-leg thanks to a late Mbappe winner in Paris. Madrid were extremely underwheling and if they are to stand a chance they will need to improve on their performance.
The Spanish giants are still leading the race in La Liga after bouncing back from their defeat to the Parisians. They will be without Casemiro and Toni Kroos for this encounter. Does Modric have what it takes to run the midfield without his usuall partners?
PSG were shocked against Nantes after their win against Real. They did win their next game and are still miles ahead in the race for the Ligue 1 title. They were far from their best the past weekend as they were defeated 1-0 by Nice. Messi returns to the Santiago Bernabeu after missing a penalty in the first leg. Mbappe was almost certain to join Real in the sumer but after their poor display in the first-leg the French wonderkid has seemed to change his mind.
Can Real persuade him once again with a majestic performance or will Messi lead the French giants closer to their maiden Champions League title?
