The Reds fell short in the league as Man City pipped them to the title by a point. Their last day despair should however add some fuel to their burning fire.
TEAM NEWS:
Liverpool suffered a major set-back as Thiago limped of against Wolves on Sunday. They opted to rest Mo Salah and Van Dijk. Salah came of the bench to end his drought. Fabinho did not feature at all but should be involved in the final. Apart from the possible absence of Thiago it should be a full strenght squad.

Madrid already secured the La Liga title a couple of weeks ago and that gave Ancelloti a great oppurtunity to manage his players and his squad perfectly in preparation for this game!

Real should be able to select a full strenght squad. David Alaba has been absent since the semi-final against Man City but Ancelotti has confirmed that there is a 100% chance that he willl feature. He has also hinted that Gareth Bale would love tho leave the club by saying goodbye...could he come back to haunt Liverpool?

This match is set to be a thriller and it could go either way. Both sides are fit to be the crowned the kings of europe and the only question is who will it be?
The last time these two met in the UCL final will forever haunt Liverpool fans. Karius and Bale sealed a comfortable victory for Madrid and Mo Salah walked of early with a dislocated shoulder.
A lot has changed however since then. Liverpool are arguably the best team on the planet and boast some of the best players. Real Madrid no longer have Ronaldo up front but Karim Benzema has filled that void with aplomb!
